Super Dream Party Characters: Supporting Cast

These are all the allies of the Super Dream Party, consisting of friends and family from the worlds of each of the heroes. Having all suddenly arrived in Arcobaln, they were all able to distinguish and recognize each other as aliens when compared to the dominant species of the planet, the Palno race. All of them have a common goal; return to their homes, and in order to do so they decide that they must work alongside each other and the people of this unfamiliar world, however great their differences may be. However, just as good people came to Arcobaln, so too did a couple of bad eggs; the Super Dream Party came to be seen as the best idea to deal with the newly formed CSM, and was given the full support by all of their companions.

While concerns and fears still plague the minds of the Palnos over how trustworthy these aliens are, the interdimensional immigrants have been fortunate enough to gain full support from two major parties; the Grandir Kingdom, and the Asterlaishin Institute of Science and Investigation (AISI). With the leaders working alongside the royal Grandir family to give them legal protection and the researchers of AISI working with the smartest cookies from the different worlds, things are looking up for the good guys. However, the threat of the CSM and their nefarious machinations is still prevalent, and the Super Dream Party is still only 6 people; will these kind fellows be able to find out why all this happened and return home?

Luigi - This lanky green fellow is most commonly known for being the younger brother of Mario, and unfortunately that’s usually the most known of him in his world. Luigi is kind-hearted and caring for other people, and will do whatever he can to help out those in need. Unfortunately he’s also a bit of a coward, and living in his more famous brother’s shadow tends to get to him quite a bit. Nether the less, he boasts many of the same great skills that made Mario who he was, and their adventures are proof that despite his shyness, Luigi is very capable of being just as great a hero; his floaty jumps reach higher than Mario’s, and he is an expert in ghost-busting (which is convenient as he is afraid of ghosts). Mario was at first genuinely shocked and disheartened that Luigi chose not to join the Super Dream Party, but was relieved when the reason turned out not to be cowardice or fear of failure, but because he wanted to stay with the princesses to make sure nothing bad happens to them. Rather than acting as a fighter, he decides instead to run errands for leaders of the different worlds and the Grandir family, meaning he constantly travels between Rosemary Town in the Kingdom and Bismuth District in Stardust city, and occasionally going to the AISI Field Camp. Though he doesn’t know it, the time will come when Luigi will prove himself to be more than just a poor man’s Mario.

Princess Peach - The blonde, beautifully-dressed princess of the Mushroom Kingdom who has taken the role of representing her world for the interdimensional alliance. Alongside the Toad race whom she takes care of, she is also good friends with the Mario Brothers, the both of whom owe their loyalty to (and perhaps from Mario there is something more than loyalty that keeps him staying with Peach). She is well-known throughout the lands as a benevolent, courteous and righteous ruler that always seeks to resolve manners in civil ways. She is also somewhat ditzy and may not instantly understand someone; she also has the unfortunate tendency to get kidnapped (usually by the some foul fiend), in some cases out of gullibility. Peach isn’t the pushover she seems though, as on occasion she will join the Mario Bros. and go on adventures herself, using her magical abilities to such as floating gracefully in the air and using healing powers to aid her companions and thwart her foes. She joins the other princesses Bubblegum (well, not really), Luna and Celestia to form a union with the Grandir family of Arcobaln, believing that they can use their similarities as leaders to help form good bonds with the people of the world. Her polite and kind nature helps her ease tensions that arise within the group, and is willing to help others via therapy should they become overly stressed. Despite her seemingly defenceless nature, the Mushroom Kingdom hasn’t prevailed numerous times without reason, and the CSM will see for themselves why.

Toad - Toad is one of many mushroom-headed citizens of the Mushroom Kingdom (also known as Toads), and is a long time protector of his kingdom and Peach’s attendant. Though there are many like this blue-spotted fellow, this Toad is notable for being a long-time friend of the Mario Bros., even coming to their parties and picnics alongside the princess. Though the Toad race is infamous for being very panicky, they are also known for being great at relaying information. This Toad is more courageous than most of his brethren, always quick to accompany the Mario Bros. and Peach when trouble strikes the kingdom. Though his jumping abilities are far outmatched by the plumber brothers, he makes up for it with his impressive strength and speed, easily able to outrun his pals while still carrying heavy objects. Taking on a similar role to his friend Luigi, Toad helps out the alliance as an informant and messenger for the leaders. He also tries to promote the image of the Mushroom Kingdom by teaching the Palnos about what happens in his world and how they can help fight against the CSM; social media and blogging being available in Arcobaln makes the job easier considering he’s only one person out of his entire race who has come to the planet. Though his heroics aren’t as renowned as Mario or Luigi’s efforts, his contributions will prove significant in the face of the combined threat from the other worlds.

Yoshi - This cute green dinosaur comes from a race of many other brightly coloured dinosaurs (also known as Yoshis; it can be a bit confusing in the Mushroom Kingdom), and much like his brethren is a great help to anyone considered a friend. The Yoshi race has helped out the Mario Bros. ever since they were only babies who became lost, and throughout the ages has consistently been there to aid them in their adventures and fights against the treacherous Bowser and his dastardly minions such as Kamek. Yoshi inherits many traits his clan is known for; cheerful, bubbly and always looking to have a good time with pals and help out anyone in need, so long as they’re not a bully. He’s also known for being a bit of a glutton, eating up almost anything he can in one gulp, though this can also come in handy if someone has a bit of ‘cleaning up’ to do. His amazing metabolism lets him swallow virtually anything and either spit it out as a projectile or make it into an egg to throw later. He’s also a fast runner with acrobatic abilities such as flutter-jumping and ground pounding, allowing him to catch up with the Mario Bros. when they aren’t using him as a steed. Not exactly a citizen of the Mushroom Kingdom, Yoshi simply spends his time in Arcobaln exploring new places and dining on local cuisine; despite his cute and non-threatening appearance, most Palnos aren’t exactly comfortable with some weird alien creature parading around like a tourist. When he crosses paths with Mario, the two will make a valorous duo that will teach the CSM a thing or two about being respectful to others.

Donkey Kong - A powerful hero of the Kong clan, which consists of various primates of all kinds that reside in Donkey Kong Island. Though they occasionally have their conflicts, him and Mario and good terms with each other in spite of the latter’s rocky past with Cranky Kong (the former owner of title Donkey Kong), and the great ape will even attend parties with the red plumber. DK is a respected and brave guardian of his clan’s island, though most of the time he is carefree and prefers spending time with his buddies and eating bananas. He is a bit dimwitted though, and much to his clan’s chagrin he chooses brawn over brain to deal with problems; though that’s not always looked down upon when certain troubles arise. Not only is he bulky and strong, but he’s also deceptively agile and fast (befitting an ape) and can swing from vine or rope with relative ease; he’s pretty good on the drums too. Totally confused about the entire situation, Donkey Kong goes on his own adventure to try piece together himself how he ended up in Arcobaln, though of course his detective skills aren’t refined enough to come to any logical conclusion. His intimidating appearance spooks the Palnos he comes across, and in turn their bizarre appearance freaks out the big monkey as well, causing him to recluse to the jungles of Paordevu. Alone and without a clue, the poor gorilla seems to be down on his luck, but have no fear DK! Your time to shine won’t be missed, especially with the CSM refusing to keep their noses out of other people’s business.

Miles ‘Tails’ Prower - A two-tailed fox who is an expert in machinery and piloting, boasting many gadgets and vehicles under his name. He and Sonic are best friends, and Tails looks up to him like a brother; he didn’t have much confidence until he met the blue hedgehog, and since then has inspired to be believe in himself. The two are almost inseparable, going on nearly every adventure together, especially when it involves Eggman; Tails even lets Sonic crash at his place when the speedster decides not to rough it (he doesn’t seem to own a house). Nowadays he’s more confident and independent, though he still hangs out with Sonic most of the time. Tails is incredibly intelligent, as his many inventions credit; of course this gives him the tendency to ramble on using complicated terminology, and also has a bit of a snarky attitude (usually only when talking to Sonic though). He is able to spin around his signature tails around like helicopter, allowing him to attack enemies and fly in the air for a short amount of time. He’s also an expert pilot, operating such vehicles like the Tornado biplane or its mecha form. Though he was offered to be a part of the Super Dream Party, Tails decided instead to work with the researchers at AISI and other scientists including Dr. Light and Bubblegum to help figure out how they all came to Arcobaln. He also spends his time working on vehicles to help the SDP travel to wherever they need to go quickly without having to take public transport and avoid awkward interactions with the citizens of the planet. There are plenty of dangerously smart engineers working in the CSM, but this crafty fox will make sure he and his allies get the one-up on them with everything they’ve got.

Knuckles the Echidna - A fierce fighter that protects the legendary Master Emerald on the floating Angel Island, he is a loner by nature with a good heart. His relationship with Sonic is a bit rocky, as they were formerly enemies due to Eggman tricking Knuckles into thinking Sonic would try to take the Master Emerald; after helping him defeat Eggman (the real culprit) the two became friends, though they still like to think of each other as rivals. Knuckles has lived almost his entire life alone, and as a result he tends to be gullible and easy to believe that people are well-intentioned, even when it’s obvious that they aren’t exactly good guys. Even still he is noble and loyal, always willing to give a helping hand to anyone that needs it; provided it can fit within his schedule of guarding the Master Emerald. Knuckles is so named because of great fist-fighting abilities, easily able to knock down any robot in his way. He can also climb walls, burrow through solid ground and even glide through the air, making him a great explorer and treasure hunter. At first the red echidna was worried sick about the fate of the Master Emerald, as him being in Arcobaln gives him no way to protect it; after learning that Eggman was also in Arcobaln he calmed down a bit, but still has his concerns. Not knowing a way to get back to his world, he trusts that Tails and the others will be able to find a way, and spends most of his time exploring areas such as ruins and other rural areas, hoping to find interesting things to take back as a souvenir. Though he’s mostly keeping out of the affairs regarding the CSM, they’d be wise not to mess with this hot-headed monotreme monk.

Amy Rose - This pink rascally hedgehog is just your ordinary girl; getting regular jobs, buying groceries, occasional volunteer work and so on. To Sonic however she’s a nigh unbearable nightmare. After being saved by a metallic doppelganger of the blue blur, Amy believed it to be fate and fell in love with him; she’s more determined than anything else to make Sonic her future husband. Despite her obsessive, bossy and overly exuberant behaviour, she still makes it a personal rule to be nice to everyone and nurturing to young creatures; she’s especially fond of taking care of animals, and after an adventure where she helped a lost bird find its parents she has decided to become more self-reliant and respectable. Though her speed isn’t nearly on par with her crush, Sonic is thankful for that fact as she wields the large Piko-Piko Hammer with ease; smashing enemies flat and using at as vault to help boost her to higher places. She’s also skilled in gymnastics, and during her earlier years practiced fortune-telling with tarot cards (which led her to believe in her destiny with Sonic). Wanting to do her best to help out the Super Dream Party, she takes up part-time jobs in Stardust City to help pay for (among other things) the apartment building in Bismuth District where the SDP stay during their visit, and has also set up a blog to try get on the good side of the Palno race. Considered more of a nuisance than a threat, the CSM may be proven wrong should they mess with the wrong girls love interest.

Cream the Rabbit - A young girl that spends most of her time playing with the adorable Chao creatures of her world, and go on adventures when she’s allowed to. She’s good friends with Sonic, especially after he helped to save her mother, and she’s very close to Amy whom she likes to hang out with often. She was raised by her mother to be polite and courteous to people, and is always sweet and caring to her friends; still being only a child however she’s also naïve and overly curious, occasionally to the point of heading straight into danger. Cream’s large rabbit ears can be flapped to allow her to fly for a short time, and she’s very experienced with giving Chao’s orders; among them is her best pal Cheese. Both curious and nervous about this strange planet, she sticks close to Amy and helps out with whatever chores need to be done; in her free time she plays with the local wildlife in Stardust City. Though regarded as bizarre as all other aliens to Arcobaln, the citizens have noted her to be adorable and endearing; many pro-alien activists cite her as an example as to why the interdimensional immigrants should be regarded as friends and not threats. Though not inherently a fighter, she’ll do whatever it takes to help out her friends to stop the mean members of the CSM and find a way back home to her worried-to-death mother, who still has no idea where poor little Cream has gone.

Professor Pickle - A world-renowned scholar of old age and an expert in ancient literature, who teaches students in a number of classes at the prestigious Spagonia University. He met with Sonic and Tails during an incident that involved creatures of darkness, a werehog, a perpetually-hungry sprite-like being and the planet splitting apart (it’s a long story) and helps them out with his vast knowledge. As fitting for folks his age, he is well mannered, wise and able to stay calm in even dire situations to the point of aloofness and easy-goingness, just one of his handful of eccentricities; whether those are from old age or a consistent part of his personality is anyone’s guess. After being inspired by a good friend Pickle set off on the path of a career in researching ancient history and literature and acquired an encyclopaedic pool of knowledge over his many decades in life; he is also very particular when it comes to his favourite food, cucumber sandwiches and will gladly share knowledge and making it right, or even giving students a bit of leeway for them. Though his age is more apparent than the other intellectual representatives from the other worlds, his understanding of ancient history and trends is just as much applicable and his gentle nature helps ease tensions. Pickle regularly attends meetings with the other alien citizens, and spends the rest of his time in the Mark-Stone Museum researching the history of the world, seeking to put to good use the best and the worst of the Palno race’s past. A seemingly irrelevant old man to the CSM, but what they don’t know is that Professor Pickle may just uncover the secret to their secret weapon.

Roll - DLN. 002, a housekeeping robot just like her older brother Mega Man (formerly known as Rock) used to be, and the one who takes care of the robotic pets such as Beat and Tango. She keeps her creator Dr. Light company while her brother goes off on missions to foil Dr. Wily’s plans, often times reassuring him that he’ll be safe by the end of the adventure. Roll, like Mega Man, was taught by Light about right and wrong, and she has since grown to be a caring individual that will often times put others before herself; she does have the tendency to be bossy and in over her head at times though. Though Mega Man was just a housekeeping robot as well, he has significantly more skill using buster-type weapons than Roll. At first she thought this meant she wasn’t cut out for fighting like him, but was convinced by Light to give it another shot with something that she’s more accustomed to, that being a broom and other devices used for cleaning: though still not as fearsome a foe as her brother, she’s surprisingly good when she has the right tools. In Arcobaln, Roll plays the position she usually does in the face of crisis, staying close to Dr. Light as an assistant and helping out the other scientists at the AISI camp, and joining up with Amy in the social media and blogging department to get their worlds a good reputation. She may just look like a little girl, but when the rest of your family consists of numerous battle-hardened warriors, including an iconic hero and mysterious fighter, you’re bound to pick up a few pointers.

Proto Man - DLN. 000, the first humanoid robot intended to be capable of independent thought and reasoning; he was still a prototype however, and although he exceeded the expectation of his creator, his energy reactor was failing. Fearing that a modification would change his character, Proto Man (at the time nicknamed as Blues) fled and eventually broke down, eventually being fixed up by Dr. Wily; out of gratitude, he worked for Wily until meeting his brother and seeing the wrongdoings of the mad doctor. Despite being the first robot created by Dr. Light and the older brother of Mega Man and Roll, he is a loner by nature that rarely shows up to see them; usually only doing so to lend a hand or give quick advice. Despite being so distant to everyone and a bit cold, he has a strong sense of justice that would later be inherited by Mega Man, and is calm, cool and collected in any situation. Proto Man is capable of many of the same things as his younger brother, including the use of the Proto Buster and being able to copy the weapons of other robot masters. What makes him unique is his iconic Proto Shield, a large, strong shield that can deflect many attacks and can be used as a battering ram. He’s also capable of unleashing powerful blasts of energy, though this takes a lot out of him and puts him in a potentially dangerous state. While everyone else is concerned about the CSM themselves, Proto Man is more concerned with an underlying problem even bigger than the villains, though they are closely connected. He seeks to uncover truths hidden from the public regarding the history of certain creatures and magic. When you hear a certain tune being whistled, you can be assured that intense action is sure to follow.

Dr. Thomas Light - A scientist and inventor who is famous in his world for having invented many robots to aid mankind, as well as the first robot masters; robots that are capable of thinking for themselves. He created the DLN series which includes Proto Man, Mega Man, Roll and many other robots used for industrial purposes; Mega Man and Roll are like children to him. On top of being a brilliant roboticist, Dr. Light is also well-received for being humble, benevolent, wise and forgiving (though maybe a bit too forgiving); he dreams of a world where both humans and machines can both live in peace. Though he created his robot masters to benefit mankind, most of them were unfortunately stolen by his former friend Dr. Wily (who had grown jealous of his success) and repurposed as machines to do ill deeds. As such he had no choice but to reprogram his former lab assistant Rock into the fighting robot Mega Man, hoping that one day all the violence can finally end. While he is in just as much a shock as everyone else after arriving in Arcobaln, Light sees at as a very unique and great opportunity to explore communication and contact between worlds; he hopes that by co-operating with each other, relating through similarities and learning through their differences that they can all work together to overcome their problems. As such he is more than happy to agree with working with the scientists at AISI and from the other worlds, using his expertise in technology and energy sources to help create machines that can track sources of dimensional anomalies, in addition to being there for people who may need a few words of wisdom. Though his youth is far behind him, he seeks to do anything he can to aid the Super Dream Party in their fight against the CSM, and perhaps achieve more.

Rush - A robotic dog created by Dr. Light to aid Mega Man in his travels, and a treasured member of the Light family. Much like regular dogs are a man’s best friend (though that is also the case for many women as well, or just anyone really), Rush and Mega Man are best pals, having gone on numerous adventures and playing in their spare time. Also like other dogs Rush is dependable, loyal and friendly, although Light may have done a bit too well emulating a dog as he also has the same level of curiosity that sometimes lands him in trouble. Apart from having great searching abilities like his biological counterpart, this mechanical canine can transform his body into a broad selection of forms such as one that allows him to boost his allies up with a spring or a jet form to fly around; he can even combine with Mega Man to give him unique armours that enhance his strength and manoeuvrability. Although the Palnos and other interdimensional races freak him out, Rush is ready to once again help out the blue bomber and his new friends to take on the CSM; his friendly dog-like appearance makes him popular with children as well. Though not as diverse in shape-shifting as Jake, this dog is considered an honorary member of the Super Dream Party, and the CSM are gonna wish they had as good a relationship with their own pets by the time Rush sniffs them out.

Cut Man - DLN. 003, a forest timber harvesting robot that was once under the control of Dr. Wily before being defeated by Mega Man and returning to his good self. Once an enemy to his older brother, Cut Man’s data was thankfully saved alongside his other brainwashed brothers and were rebuilt to once again to do good for mankind. Cut Man is a stubborn and naive fellow, but like his older siblings has a good heart with a sense of justice that would rather not fight; he is also quite sharp-witted, and despite his grumpy-looking expression is always up for good fun. He was designed with a lightweight chassis that allows for fast and agile movements, even able to jump off of vertical surfaces, and fights enemies using the Rolling Cutter; a pair of scissor-like blades on top of his head made from the highly durable Ceratanium. Cut Man decides to stick close to Dr. Light and Roll, fearing that the CSM or even certain anti-alien advocates will target the good doctor and his creations. He also goes on scouting missions to help find info or find certain ingredients to potions that Zecora plans on making. The CSM ought to cut out their dastardly plans or they’re in for some serious trouble.

Auto - A robotic assistant to Dr. Light and an inventor that creates items and parts to sell at his mobile shop. Auto is Mega Man’s self-proclaimed biggest fan, holding him to high-esteem for his heroics and always willing to help him out; he also has a lot of respect for Dr. Light, owing his existence to Light conceptualizing robot masters in the first place. Always willing to pitch in, Auto has pure and innocent nature with a nack for inventing things, however he’s also a bit of a slacker that dislikes studying and can get into mischief at times; the screw on top of his head also comes loose sometimes. When he has enough screws, nuts and bolts to work with (and the screw on his head on tight) Auto can whip a plentiful amount of useful items and upgrades to aid Mega Man on his missions; unfortunately his expertise only extends to robotic needs, so the rest of the Super Dream Party can’t benefit nearly as much from his wares. Alongside Roll and Cut Man, Auto sticks with Dr. Light and the other scientists to help them any way he can; he’s also taken an interest with the Bronze Industries near Stardust City, impressed by the founder’s mechanical ability. To others he’s a big nerd, but to Mega Man he’s a valuable ally and friend, and the fighting robot will make sure to write his signature on the bazooka that takes out the CSM’s forces.

Bonnibel Bubblegum - The former princess of Candy Kingdom in the Land of Ooo, and a scientist by nature who is a lot older than she looks. Bubblegum is great friends with Finn and Jake, both of which stayed loyal to her even after her reign as a princess had ended; Finn had a serious crush on her for a time, but eventually grew out of it and both are now comfortable as friends. She is civil, caring and knows when to be serious just as well as she knows when it’s time for fun; when she was princess she always looked out for her citizens (in her own way). On the other hand, she is a bit paranoid and sceptical to possible threats, and her scientific interests sometimes drive her to morally ambiguous decisions. Having lived for so long Bubblegum has a wide variety of talents, not the least of which is her pure smarts. She can analyse any situation and quickly deduce the best way of handling the problem, and is also skilled in many scientific fields such as chemistry and physics, which she uses to her advantage alongside her many devices. Though she no longer has responsibility over her former kingdom, she still hopes to return home soon just in case it is put in any danger that the new (debatably competent) leader can’t handle; though she trusts that Peppermint Butler, the one candy person to stick with her, can deal with any troubles. At the moment, she keeps herself very busy by acting as a diplomat for her world (though she won’t glorify it as being a utopia of any kind) and working with the other scientists to discover the origins of the interdimensional phenomenon. Despite not liking magic as it is usually perceived, Bubblegum gets along well with the other princesses (who are more prone to using it), and she thinks that Finn and Jake hanging out with Twilight will be good for them. Though her appearance may seem wholly benevolent, the CSM should learn quickly that bad guys aren’t the only ones capable of scheming.

Marceline Abadeer - Daughter of the lord of living nightmares, Marceline is a centuries-old vampire rocker that does whatever she pleases. Though at first she harassed and terrified them, this dark chick is good friends with Finn and Jake and is always up for a good time with them. She’s also known Bubblegum for a while, which was shaky for a while before returning to more friendly terms; their past relationship is ambiguous (my money’s on gay). Marceline may have no problems living up her monstrous persona, but she cares a lot about her friends and just wants to have fun; though years of loneliness, losing people she’s loved and betrayal have made her reluctant to open up. Vampires are scary to begin with, but Marceline’s powers are more aligned with a nightmarish abomination (like her father); she is capable of shape-shifting into demonic forms and has access to dark magic, though it is not as often used. She can also shred a sick tune or foes on her ax-bass, and she gains energy by sucking the colour red out of objects and people. Unlike everyone else, Marceline isn’t at all overly concerned with being away from home, and chooses to just go about having fun (much to the chagrin of terrified citizens); however, she also senses a familiar energy that is at play. Whoever she decides to pick a fight with, there’s gonna be one heck of a show.

Lady Rainicorn - A strange being known as a Rainicorn, long-bodied unicorn-like creatures that can manipulate light and dance on their rays; she is also a mother of five. She and Bubblegum are best friends, and has been in a loving, healthy committed relationship with Jake for many years, of which she shares her love with alongside their kids; she’s also good friends with Finn, though the language barrier can be a hassle (she speaks only Korean). Lady is mature, laid-back and is good at giving advice, while at the same time having a bit of a cheeky side. Like other Rainicorns, she has the power to fly, phase through objects, and use her horn to fire a chromatic beam that can change the colour of anything she wants or harm enemies. Lady is worried about her children back home, and hopes to find a way back soon. She’s mostly by Bubblegum’s side to help her out with political and scientific errands, and is also willing to help out the Super Dream Party in any way she can. She and a few others also help to pay for the apartment in Bismuth District for the SDP to stay. For something that looks straight out of a little girls crayon drawing, Lady Rainicorn will make a formidable foe against the CSM and show them that there are few things more dangerous than a mother separated from her kids.

BMO - A small, sentient machine that is capable of several functions such as being a video game console, portable electric outlet, video editor/player and music player. They are a great little buddy to Finn and Jake, living with them and always looking out for them. BMO is much like a young child; adorable, innocent, sweet-hearted, though they are also naïve and prone to do strange things when no one is around. On top of the various functions they can do as a robot, they have also taken up various skills like karate and skateboarding. BMO also has a button that can bring beings from the real world into their virtual reality world of video games, and vice-versa. Though they insisted that they go with their best friends on their adventures, Finn and Jake decide that it’s not safe for BMO to be around them, especially with the CSM targeting them. To pass the time they hang out with the other allies at Bismuth District, trying to make a good name for themselves to the Palnos. BMO’s cute design and behaviour has made them popular amongst citizens, already garnering a sizable internet fanbase. Of all the things the CSM are anticipating from their enemies, a random smiling face showing up on every single one of their computers was the last of them.

Lumpy Space Princess - The princess of the spatial realm known as Lumpy Space, a cloud-like cityscape populated by Lumpy Space People; she’s not so much princess as she is drama queen. LSP is a friend of Finn, Jake, Bubblegum and recently Marceline, and for all the trouble she gives them they still care for her as does she for them. At first glance she’s insufferable; bratty, apathetic, demanding, attention-seeking, self-centred and rude among other things, but despite all this she can be really kindhearted to her friends on occasions and secretly wishes to better herself. As a Lumpy Space Person, she has the natural ability to float above the ground, and her bites can slowly turn others into Lumpy Space People themselves. That’s… about it really. As always, LSP tries to play it cool about suddenly being in Arcobaln, claiming it’s no big deal, and tries to convince the Palnos that she’s at the highest level of importance where she’s from; despite little knowledge of the Land of Ooo, they are savvy enough to know that it’s a load of baloney. To help the Super Dream Party she does the same as certain other allies and do odd jobs to help pay for an apartment for the heroes to stay in; her level of contribution is questionable. Perhaps in due time she can prove herself to be a valuable ally against the CSM… somehow.

Spike the Dragon - A baby dragon that was hatched by Twilight when she was a filly and after being raised and trained by Celestia became Twilight’s assistant. On top of being her assistant Spike is like a little brother to Twilight, and has been her closest friend throughout her life, and for the little dragon the purple princess is pretty much the world to him. Being a young boy, Spike can be mischievous and sarcastic, and his draconic nature makes him inherently greedy. These traits are overshadowed by his loyalty, dependability and overall desire to do his best for everyone. As expected from a dragon he can breathe fire, though he usually uses a unique variation that can send and materialize messages to and from other people, a utility he commonly uses for Twilight’s communication with Celestia. While usually very small, if he becomes too consumed by greed his body will grow to monstrous sizes and go berserk; needless to say modesty and generosity is encouraged by his friends. Much like BMO to Finn and Jake, Spike insisted he go with Twilight on her adventures, if not just to keep her company until they find their missing friends. Twilight refused and instead sends him off to live with the others at Bismuth District. A child he may be, but the number 1 assistant to someone like Princess Twilight is no meaningless title, and the CSM should keep their eyes on smaller details often.

Starlight Glimmer - A unicorn pony who’s magic is possibly on par with that of Twilight’s, and the pupil of the purple princess herself in the studies of friendship. Once an embittered mare who acquired a distorted sense of equality after losing her childhood, she stripped an entire village of their cutie marks and invoked a disciplinarian doctrine; after her plans for ‘total equality’ were thwarted by Twilight and her friends she attempted to take revenge on the Princess of Friendship by altering the past so that she would never meet her friends. After discovering that this would have devastating consequences for her world, Starlight comes to accept that it’s the differences between people that enriches their relationships; in spite of all she had done, Twilight forgives her and allows her to become her first student in the magic of friendship. Starlight used to be manipulative, callous, ill-tempered and all while hiding it behind a smile, but after realizing the errors of her ways is keen on starting a new life of studying friendship (and as it turns out she’s surprisingly timid, awkward and a bit lax without the tough act on). Having studied many powerful spells and having a natural talent for magic, Starlight is an incredibly capable magic-user and a master strategist that can think several steps ahead of her foes; had it not be for her conversation skills, Twilight might have even been defeated by her. When she asked Twilight if she can assist the Super Dream Party directly, her teacher instead requested that she use her powerful magic to protect populations and repair any damages caused by the CSM, and also believed that it would make a good opportunity for her to try make good connections with people far outside her culture as a lesson in friendship; admittedly Starlight was hoping for some action, but she has a lot of faith in Twilight and takes her word to heart. If the chance comes when she goes toe to toe with the CSM however, they’ll understand why even Twilight Sparkle had so much trouble against her.

Apple Bloom - A young earth pony that sees great importance in having a cutie mark, and together with her friends Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo formed the Cutie Mark Crusaders. She comes from the Apple family, which consists of herself, Applejack, Big Macintosh and Granny Smith as well as many more that live elsewhere from where she lives. Apple Bloom is brave for her age, being determined to get her cutie mark as soon as possible and strives for independence; she inherits some of her older sister’s stubbornness, but she’s still open to listening to others and always willing to do the right thing. In her numerous attempts to acquire a cutie mark she has tried a number of different talents; none of them worked out, until she and her friends offered help to someone they had an uneasy relationship with, and finally earning their marks. Though she showed promise in farming and carpentry, her true calling ended up being to help others understand the meaning of their cutie marks. Somepony as young as her is expectedly anxious about ending up in an alien world, far from her home with none of her family present; the anxiety made worse after learning that while her brother and grandmother are still in Equestria, Applejack is in Arcobaln, but has yet to be found. Thankfully her friends are there to support her, and she uses the experience she’s earned from her numerous adventures on friendship to help garner support from the citizens of the planet. Apple Bloom doesn’t know how her cutie mark can help in this situation, but if she has to go hoof-to-toe against the CSM then gosh darn it she will! I mean, they may be evil but they wouldn’t fight back against a child right? That oughtta give her the upper hoof!

Sweetie Belle - A young unicorn pony that is one of three founders of the Cutie Mark Crusaders, quickly becoming friends with Apple Bloom and Scootaloo after finding out they had yet to find their true callings as well. She is the younger sister of Rarity, and despite their occasional arguments still love each other very much. As her name suggests, Sweetie Belle is sweet at heart, always concerned with the wellbeing of her family and friends; on the other hand she can be whiny and has a rather cacophonic voice. Just like Apple Bloom and Scootaloo, her special talent seems to be helping other ponies understand why they were given their cutie mark; though she has picked up a few design tips from her sister, and apparently she’s not that bad of a singer as well. She’s had a hard time getting to sleep since she got to Arcobaln, made no better with no sight of her sister around. Even still, she does her best to help out however she can, even if sometimes the people she’s trying to help didn’t really ask. The plight of the young fillies missing their loved ones has gained the attention and sympathies of many citizens, seeing their anxiousness as evidence that the feelings and hardships of the aliens should be addressed.

Scootaloo - A young pegasus pony that is part of the Cutie Mark Crusaders, young ponies that sought to gain their cutie marks so that they can discover their true calling in life. She is the self-proclaimed fan of Rainbow Dash, and looks up to her as a big sister, hoping to one day be as cool as her. Even more headstrong and daring than Apple Bloom, Scootaloo is ambitious and lives to impress; however she still has insecurities that can really get to her, not the least of which being her inability to fly properly. What she lacks in gaining height through her wings she makes up by gaining air with her scooter driving skills; though that didn’t end up being her true talent, instead being the one shared with her best friends that involves helping others better know their destiny. Just as her best friends are concerned for their sisters and friends, Scootaloo is fretting over what could have happened to them, though she hides it to try make herself look braver. Scootaloo makes it an effort to try convince the young Palnos about how cool her friends are, especially the Elements of Harmony (though usually she just rambles on about Rainbow Dash). Unbeknownst to the good guys, one malicious member of the CSM has potential plans for the three young girls…

Princess Celestia - The co-ruler of Equestria alongside her younger sister Luna, she has the responsibility of raising the sun; she had to raise the moon as well for a thousand years before her sister was returned to normal. She is also the teacher and mentor of Twilight Sparkle, and the one who transformed her into an alicorn princess; their relationship is closer than that of a teacher and student though. Celestia is a fair and just ruler, widely praised for her benevolence and sagely wisdom; though she has a bit of a cheeky side as well (and enjoys cake a bit too much). Being an alicorn, she has immense power (as if moving a gigantic ball of fire in outer space wasn’t enough indication), and though she usually doesn’t like resorting to violence, she will unleash incredible fiery power on anyone who dares threaten her subjects. It is a good thing that her power is so great, as even though she is in Arcobaln she can transfer her power to her adopted niece Princess Cadance via Luna’s powers so that she can raise the sun (though it is taxing on her). Still, she wishes to return as soon as possible to restore things in order and calm her subjects down. Celestia works with the other princesses and the Grandir family to help the aliens become accepted within Palno society, and apply magic power and knowledge to find a way back home. Though she has a lot on her hooves, the CSM would be wise not to incur their anger, lest they get a sunburn that no amount of aloe vera could possible fix.

Princess Luna - The co-ruler of Equestria alongside her older sister Celestia, she has the responsibility of raising the moon; she was once a wicked mare of darkness known as Nightmare Moon, who had grown jealous of her sister’s sun being more appreciated, and threatened to plunge the world into eternal night. Thankfully with the help of the Elements of Harmony, she was returned to normal and has since then been at her loving sister’s side once again. Though she is a bit out of touch and not without guilt issues, Luna still strives to be like her sister and help anypony trouble with whatever troubles them and be a righteous princess. As all other alicorns, she has vast magical power that was once what made Nightmare Moon such a great danger. She is capable of traveling between people’s dreams where she can talk directly to them to help resolve issues that they otherwise are unable to talk about to others. Luna uses her dream-walking powers to skip dimensions and visit her adopted niece Cadance, where she explained the situation and entrust hers and Celestia’s powers upon her to keep the day/night cycle active while they are away. She assists the other princesses and Palno royalty to help the other aliens acquire legal protection and to try find a way to use the same dimensional anomaly that brought them to Arcobaln to return back to their homes. The CSM better make themselves a lot of coffee, because they certainly won’t be having pleasant dreams if they spur the wrath of the princess of the night.

The Elements of Harmony – A group of six ponies consisting of Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie who all became best friends when they had to work together to stop a dangerous threat, and as a result displayed the best qualities that friendship could offer which allowed them to use the most powerful magic known in Equestria that would help them numerous times. When the dust settled and the residents of each world found themselves in Arcobaln, Twilight found herself to be the only one out of the friends to still be with everypony else; all of her best friends on the other hoof had suddenly gone missing! In her desperate search for her friends, Twilight eventually learns a shocking truth. In all the confusion, the Collaboration of Superior Masterminds managed to knock out and kidnap her friends, who were then transformed into crystals so that they can be kept immobilized while having their harmonic power drained for energy! Not all is lost, however, as their spirits were strong enough to fly out of the CSM’s grasp, and then eventually reach Twilight, who can fuse her own spirit with her friends to not only keep them safe, but also to give her additional powers as well. While Twilight can still technically have her friends be by her side, she is still determined to bring them back to their original forms. Don’t feel alone, Twilight; your friends will always be by your side!

Applejack - An apple farming earth pony that is hard working and the most mature of her friends, she represents the Element of Honesty. Applejack is a brave, reliable, strong and dependable pony that is well known for either her hard-working honest nature, her accent or her iconic stetson hat. She is patient and calm, and is usually the one to think straight out of the group when things go wrong, although she can be very stubborn and impulsive at times. As many earth ponies before her, she is a farmer of Sweet Apple Acres, one of the largest apple farms in all of Equestria, and is helped by her loving grandmother, older brother and younger sister get all the apples down to make them into goods. Applejack is one of, if not the strongest out of her friends, easily being able to knock all the apples off a tree in a single buck thanks to years of doing so as a farmer. Like a cowboy, she is also skilled with a lasso, almost as much so as her cooking abilities (would you believe she is great at making apple dishes?). Applejack is no stranger to dire situations, and with all honesty she believes she can only do so much in her current state, but she won’t let something like not having a body get in the way of helping her friends or the Super Dream Party save the day!

Rainbow Dash - A weather patrol pegasus pony who is easily one of the fastest flyers in Equestria, she represents the Element of Loyalty. Confident, brash and lots of attitude, Rainbow Dash is a big show off with lots of pride in her ability, and doesn’t usually like girly or nerdy things if she thinks they don’t look good for her image. Despite her love of herself and ‘too cool’ attitude, she still very much puts her friends before anything like her ambitions, competitiveness or pride. Her job as a pegasus is mostly things to do with manipulating the weather for use of ponies in her region, but one day she hopes to become a part of the elite flying team, The Wonderbolts, and practices stunts and manoeuvres whenever she gets the chance... or she lazes around and takes a cloud nap. Just like the other not-so-girly pony Applejack, Rainbow is one of the most athletic of her friends, and is very much one of the most skilful, fast and graceful flyers to ever touch the skies. Her weather manipulation is also practical for mischievous pranks or dealing with dangerous situations and monsters. Rainbow is very popular for her famous Sonic Rainboom, a technique that requires more speed than most ponies can even imagine and the results are outstanding. As the pony that represents loyalty, she will always be there for Twilight and her friends, and won’t let her stupid crystal form or those CSM creeps stop her from kicking flank!

Rarity - A fashion designer unicorn who has an impeccable taste in fashion, she represents the Element of Generosity. Rarity is a sophisticated, formal and graceful seamstress that has a deep love for all things beautiful, and believes it her to be her life’s purpose to make everypony beautiful. She loves being in the spotlight even more than Rainbow Dash, and is likewise just as ambitious in her quest for fame. While she does tend to be overdramatic and presumptuous, she is still a very caring pony that always means the best for her friends. She runs the Carousel Boutique, a fashion shop is steadily becoming popular and well-known even to larger cities, all thanks to her incredible fashion sense, style and skill. In terms of magical ability, Rarity is not nearly as skilled or diverse as Twilight (although not many ponies are), but she is still very much an expert with fabrics and gems that she can levitate and move around with incredible precision. She is also the one who taught Twilight the gem-finding spell, which allows the user to locate precious stones from deep underground. Being made of crystal would usually seem like an exciting endeavour to Rarity, but being nothing but a crystal is instead something she’d much rather not be. Rarity is a master at making things into a style, and she’ll find a way to make her new diminutive form look like a new trend, give all she can to the Super Dream Party and their allies and make sure those hideous villains get their due justice!

Fluttershy - An animal caretaker pegasus with a very meek and shy demeanour, she represents the Element of Kindness. Gentle and empathetic, Fluttershy is always willing to help all living things, regardless how they treat her, and her softness and compassion was enough to befriend even the chaotic Discord. The first thing one will notice about her though is that as her name suggests, she is incredibly shy, awkward and also has a bad habit of letting people take advantage of her kind heart while insisting it’s ok. She is an expert with animals, and lives as a caretaker thanks to her amazing talent of working with them; on occasion she also gathers up various birds to form a choir in which she is the conductor, and a very good one at that. Fluttershy is not strong, brave or even that good of a flyer, but she is able to communicate with animals of all kinds; from the smallest of insects to the mightiest of monsters, and they are willing to help the shy pegasus with whatever ails her. In the few times when she becomes angry, she can be surprisingly (and frighteningly) stronger, and can also use The Stare, an ability that subdues almost any living creature with the intensity of a thousand disappointed mothers. After her period of freaking out from being a crystal, Fluttershy was able to snap out of it when she realizes that she can still help Twilight by fusing with her. Fluttershy is willing to put aside her bashfulness and fear and put her compassionate heart to good use, whether it be getting the assistance of Arcobaln’s wildlife or comforting the Super Dream Party, she will do anything she can to stop those meanies from making everypony sad!

Pinkie Pie - An energetic and sociable earth pony that loves to party, she represents the Element of Laughter. Pinkie Pie is exuberant, hyperactive, excitable, outgoing, random, crazy and many other extroverted adjectives; she is always ready for fun activities, and has a wide array of cartoonish antics, insane feats and random outbursts of singing. She loves nothing more than seeing people smile, and would go to ridiculous lengths to do so, which makes it understandable when some ponies say she can be a bit much. Also being a lover of sweet foods, she works as a baker and caterer for Sugarcube Corner, although she puts in just as much time organizing parties or volunteering for any job that sounds like it fun. It’s hard to explain how Pinkamena Diane Pie works, but even without magic she is still able to appear from almost anywhere at any time, conjure objects such as her Party Cannon from nowhere, and is even theorized by some to be able to warp reality itself, although it’s still just a theory (and would really come in handy in a dimensional crossover). She is also the only one to be able to use the ‘Pinkie Sense’, an ability where Pinkie’s body will do random, involuntary actions that signify immediate future events such as objects or people falling, and with enough practice can be used for great practical purposes. Unlike her friends, Pinkie thinks being a crystal is kinda cool, and thinks the idea of fusing herself with Twilight sounds like a fun new game (the way she said it made Jake snicker). Pinkie Pie doesn’t like seeing anypony sad, ‘cause that makes her sad as well, and she makes it her sworn duty to make everypony, everybody and the Super Dream Party laugh and smile to their hearts contents as they beat the bad guy, save the worlds and then have a huge party to celebrate!
Here it is, the descriptions for all the good guys that aren't the Super Dream Party appearing in SDP: Disco Light Hearts (may change the title). A lot of it is general knowledge to anyone familiar with any of the series's, but there are some tidbits of new info about what's going on in the story. It's definitely a lot longer than the last time, and on top of characters not present in the previous version the Elements of Harmony are lumped here as well. It took a lot of time, but I eventually got it done.

Next up is gonna be the bad guys, that includes the main leaders of the CSM, the rivals, the robot masters and the 10 Rampage. Really sorry this took so long, but it's out of the way and I'm feeling really good about myself. Until next time, take care everybody ♥

(EDIT): Added in Professor Pickle from Sonic Unleashed. I figured that he would be the best candidate for filling the authority/wisdom-giver position that the others have that are filled in with princess or scientists.

(EDIT XX #Reload): Replaced Zecora with Twilight's new student, Starlight Glimmer. Why outright replace her? There was already too much pony to begin with, and if I'm going to be adding in someone who's definitely become too important to leave out I might as well take out someone who isn't, even if I do really like that character.
